Hello RBCPA member,
The Richmond BC Pickleball Association (RBCPA) will be holding it’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Since our group play sessions were paused November 1st, we’ve had fewer opportunities to connect with members. As a result, this year we will be hosting an in-person AGM to bring members together.
Attendance in person is required to participate, as a meeting video will not be streamed online.
To make the event even more enjoyable, we will be offering a complimentary beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) along with a selection of appetizers, including spring rolls, chicken karaage, and beef sliders.
Date & Time: Monday May 11th, 2026 @ 7:00 PM
Location: Richmond Curling Club Lounge
Address: 5540 Hollybridge Way, Richmond, BC
- Only Richmond BC Pickleball Association members can attend.
- RBCPA member attendance is limited by the lounge capacity of 150 people.
- Parking is free. Vehicles will not be ticketed during the AGM event.

Quorum Requirement
As per RBCPA Bylaw 3.7 – The quorum for the transaction of business at a general meeting is the lesser of:
- 25 voting members, or
- 10% of the voting members.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Ed Wong, who will be stepping down as Advisor, and Margaux Kreuder, who stepped down earlier as Director. We greatly appreciate their time, dedication, and contributions to RBCPA.

All positions are volunteer-based, and no prior experience is necessary. Existing board members will support and guide new volunteers.
Additional Update
At the AGM, we will provide an update on new pickleball courts that the City of Richmond is planning to complete in the near future:
- 2 new pickleball courts at the Burkeville Park.
- 6 additional pickleball courts at South Arm Park.
