The Richmond BC Pickleball Association (RBCPA) will be holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday May 5th, 2025 at 8:00PM.
Please attend if you are able. There is even an option to join the meeting using your mobile phone as provided below. We will do our best to keep the meeting short.
There are two documents attached that you can quickly review prior to the meeting. They are as follows:
At the time this page was created, the RBCPA currently has 763 members. It is very difficult to hold a large “in person” gathering of members for the AGM. Therefore, we will be using a “Zoom Meeting” for our AGM.
Bylaw 3.7 The quorum for the transaction of business at a general meeting is the lesser of 25 voting members or 10% of the voting members.
The following people are currently serving as directors and advisor:

- Geoff Chong – Director & Treasurer
- Ingrid Defert – Director & Secretary
- Dominic Au – Director & Secretary
- Linda Wong – Director at large
- Basil Quan – Director at large
- Tony Wong-hen – Director at large
- Maggie Keatley – Director at large
- Margaux Kreuder – Director at large
- Ed Wong – Advisor
NOTE: A Director at Large is elected or appointed to a position on the Board. The duties and responsibilities are not fixed but instead vary according to the needs of the Association and as directed by the Board.
Ed Wong will continue as an advisor. For the AGM there will be an election of directors. The following directors are willing to continue in these positions:

Other members are welcome to submit their names for RBCPA board positions. If you are interested in submitting your name, please send an email to: [email protected] by April 15, 2025. An election will be held if there are more than eleven candidates seeking positions. All positions are unpaid volunteers.
