Registration Fee$40 per event, per player
$90 for Men’s Doubles 5.0+

This will be RBCPA’s 5th Annual Tournament Series and this year’s proceeds will go to several charities.

The tournament will feature 26 divisions, including the addition of 6 new divisions this year:

  • Women’s Doubles Age 50+ (3.5 and 4.0+)
  • Men’s Doubles Age 50+ (3.5 and 4.0+)
  • Men’s Doubles Age 65+ (Open)
  • Men’s Doubles 5.0+ “MoneyBall” Division, powered by Black Water
    (Cash prize: $2,000)

Senior Age Eligibility:
50+ Division: Players must be born in 1976 or earlier.
65+ Division: Players must be born in 1961 or earlier.

Each division play time will be confirmed after April 30th.

Tournament Format:

Round robin format with games up to 15 points (capped at 15).
• Doubles will use regular scoring.
• Singles will use rally point scoring.

A guarantee of a minimum of 3 games.

In each division there will be either 8, 10 or 16 teams.
• For 8 or 10 teams in a division, only the top 4 teams will make the playoffs.
• For 16 teams in a division, the top 8 teams will will make the playoffs.
• Playoff games are up to 15 points (win by 2 and capped at 18).

Please note that this is a non-sanctioned tournament. DUPR ratings will not be used to determine division eligibility and participation will not affect your current or future DUPR rating. However, ratings may be considered as one factor to help ensure appropriate placement and competitive balance.

Players are expected to register with partners of similar skill levels in the appropriate division. The Tournament Director reserves the right to review and adjust players, teams, or divisions as necessary based on registration numbers and overall competitive balance.

This tournament is exclusively open to RBCPA members. If you plan to join RBCPA to participate but do not reside in Richmond, please request a tournament exception by emailing [email protected] for membership approval.

The body of the email must contain the following:
Your Full Name.
– The division or divisions you are registering for and the Full Name of your partner for each division.

Tournament Payment:

INTERAC e-Transfer sent to [email protected]

Registration fee is $40 per event and per player ($90 per player for Men’s Doubles 5.0+)

  • If a player is entering 2 events (i.e. men’s doubles and men’s singles), then he would need to e-transfer $80; the partner would also need to e-Transfer $40.
  • A player can make the payment on behalf of their partner, in which case the above example would require a $120 e-Transfer ($80 for himself and $40 for his partner).
  • Make sure it’s clear in your email if you are also paying for your partner.
  • e-Transfer payment must be received within 24 hours of providing the registration email.
  • Registration is not complete until we receive both team player names and the full team payment.
  • Full refunds can be provided if you withdraw your registration by April 20th, 2026.
  • After April 20th, no refunds will be provided.
